PROJECT OVERVIEW

Project Overview

Digital Horizons is an Erasmus+ KA2 Small Partnerships project designed to equip young people with practical video storytelling skills. The project includes educational resources, hands-on trainings and collaborative video production tasks. Teachers and students participate in workshops covering video shooting, editing, post-production and multicamera filming.

Video Production

Camera techniques, composition, lighting, sound recording and filming methods.

Digital Editing

DaVinci Resolve, editing, color correction, audio processing and effects.

International Collaboration

Cross-border teamwork and shared creative project production.

PROJECT FOCUS

Why Video Storytelling?

The project uses short video production as a practical way to develop key competencies in students and teachers, including communication, digital literacy, creativity, teamwork and cultural awareness.

Through scripting, filming, editing, reporting and live production, participants learn by doing and build skills connected to employability, active citizenship and lifelong learning.

First Working Meeting in Sofia

Partners discussed project activities, task planning, responsibility distribution, communication strategies and Erasmus+ visibility guidelines. Participants from North Macedonia visited the school, observed classes and joined cultural activities.

Video Shooting Training in Sofia

An interactive three-day training on the basics of video shooting was organized by MoCactus. Topics included technical equipment, camera settings, shot types, composition, rule of thirds, line of action, camera angles, movement, sound, lighting, interview practice and final practical projects.

Video Editing Training in Skopje

Hosted by PSU Yahya Kemal, this training introduced participants to video editing and post-production with DaVinci Resolve, short video reports, text and graphics, audio processing, color correction and presentation of edited clips.
