Capturing Moments from the Training in Skopje: Digital Video Skills for Teachers at Yahya Kemal College

From April 27 to May 1, 2023, a training course was held in our school.

For teachers on the topic of "Digital Video - Basics of Video Recording and Processing." The training was led by the youth from the "MoCactus" Association, and it was attended by six teachers from our school and five from DG 65 "Sunny Childhood" - Bulgaria.

During the four-day training, the participants familiarized themselves with the basic settings of digital video cameras, different camera operator plans and movements during recording, the use of sound in video recording, and the processing of recorded video material using the specialized program DaVinci Resolve.

The training placed emphasis on practical work, focusing on typical kindergarten activities that could be recorded.

A package of educational materials was specifically developed for the training, which included study cards for each participant and resource materials for practical tasks.

One of the topics embedded in the training was the filming of a concert performance using two cameras and subsequent editing. The ability to perform real-time editing using the Atem Mini Pro ISO video mixing console sparked particular interest among the teachers.
