Mathemathon was a four-day long excursion through different, mostly expositionary, lectures given by Jan, Nikola Cvetanoski, Nikola Spirovski, Emilija and Aleksij.
The lectures were from combinatorics, number theory, Algebra and there was one lecture focusing on Geometry given by Stefan Lozanovski, one of the most well-known geometers in North Macedonia.
The aim of the lectures was for more people to see some not-so-standard Math which is really beautiful. But the bigger goal was to do all of this in one friendly and open atmosphere where anyone can contribute.
Apart from that, I believe we had a blast doing different challenges and playing games. We also hosted an Estimathon, a team competition where you're supposed to approximate everyday and Math-related questions by saying a lower and an upper bound.
To finish the week, we did another team competition, where this time, the goal was to solve as many math problems as possible in a race with the other teams.
